Flattening the Second Curve of COVID-19: Mental Health

Webinar

Thursday, May 7, 11:00 AM PDT

Overview

Given all that your hospital, health system, and community are facing in the days ahead, in this 60-minute webinar, we’ll be discussing how to flatten what’s being called “the second curve” of the COVID-19 pandemic: the mental health impact. Experience tells us that similar to 9/11 and other traumatic events, the psychological effects linger long after the dust settles in a major crisis.

As we’ve seen in flattening the first curve of the pandemic, we know the key is to move early. During the webinar we’ll share:

  • How you can immediately offer a wide range of resources and tools for your community to support the ripple effects on mental health and emotional wellbeing.
  • Resources and strategies for addressing the unique needs of front-line professional caregivers, including clinical burnout.
  • A broader approach that includes more expansive content, capabilities, analytics, and interactive feedback loops.
  • Specific strategies for engagement and adherence to create a culture of mental health and reduce the associated stigma from a population-based approach.

This webinar is being offered exclusively for CHA members.
